Booked Your Trip? Don’t Forget Your Single Trip Travel Insurance

Planning a holiday is exciting – whether it’s a city break, a beach getaway, or an adventurous trek. But while you’re busy booking flights and accommodation, don’t forget to protect yourself with Single Trip Travel Insurance. Travel mishaps can happen when you least expect them, and having the right cover ensures peace of mind throughout your journey.

Single Trip Travel Insurance is designed to provide cover for one specific trip, protecting you against unexpected expenses like cancellations, medical emergencies, lost luggage, and travel delays. Whether you’re heading on a short weekend break or embarking on an extended holiday of up to 365 days, having the right insurance in place can save you from costly setbacks.

Why Do You Need Single Trip Travel Insurance?

We understand that when you book your holiday – whether it’s a package holiday, flights only, or a self-catered stay in an Airbnb – travel insurance can sometimes be overlooked. However, the cost of travel is continuously rising, and medical expenses abroad can be significant. That’s why travel insurance is as essential as your passport and tickets.

Imagine falling ill while on holiday and needing emergency medical treatment. In some countries, hospital bills can reach tens of thousands of pounds. With Single Trip Travel Insurance, you won’t have to worry about unexpected medical costs. Additionally, if your trip is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, insurance can help you recover non-refundable expenses.

Our comprehensive Single Trip Cover includes:

  • European and Worldwide Cover Available – Whether you’re exploring Europe or travelling further afield, choose the level of cover that suits your trip.

Single Trip Travel Insurance is ideal for those going on a one-off holiday. If you plan to travel more than once, you may be better off with an annual policy, rather than organising separate single trip policies every time you travel. Single Trip Travel Insurance can cover you and those travelling with you, for up to 365 days a year. If you are organising travel insurance for anyone else in your travelling party, ensure to add them to your policy by choosing either, a couple’s policy, a family policy or a group policy.

Winter Sports Cover is important to add to your policy if you are going skiing or snowboarding, as it will provide additional benefits, including cover if your ski equipment is lost or damaged. Similarly, with Cruise Cover, it is essential to add to your policy if you are going on a cruise for cover to be provided, this also provides additional cover benefits, such as missed port departure and cabin confinement.

We provide cover for many Sports and Activities, such as, water skiing, trekking and zip lining. Over 90 sports and activities are covered as standard, and for an additional premium, we can cover those that are a little more hazardous!

You can review all our policy documents to find out which one would be most suited to your needs.

However, if you’re likely to take multiple trips within a year, Covered2Go Annual Multi-Trip Travel Insurance could be a more cost-effective and convenient way to stay covered.
