Cover for Safari
Safari is a Swahili word meaning 'journey' and if you are visiting Africa, it’s probably very high on your list of things to do.
We can highly recommend taking a hot air balloon flight over the Masai Mara, it’s an experience that you’ll never forget – especially if you get to witness the ‘Great Migration’ of Zebra and Wildebeest that takes place between July and October. Seeing this form the air is a must for any Safari trip.
*UK-booked Safari's are covered as standard (in Activity Pack 1), if you are taking part in any other Activities, please Enter them in the Sports and Activities Search Box, when filling out your Quote Details.
Travel Insurance Cover for Safari
Travel insurance for a safari is recommended for a safari and Covered2go's extensive list of covered sports and activities provides cover for you whilst you are on your organised hot air balloon excursion. All of our policies include a large number of activities covered as standard; this includes safari trekking (UK Booked). If you are taking part in a non-UK booked Safari, or Safari trekking, these are covered within activity pack 2 and are subject to an additional premium.
In some situations you will be required to take an internal flight aboard a small aircraft to reach more destitute areas where the wildlife and habitat is more preserved. As with hot air balloons we cover you for being a passenger aboard a small aircraft as standard on all of our policies.
If you would like to speak to one of our advisors in more detail about our Safari travel insurance then please get in touch with us on 0344 482 7755 and we’ll happily guide you so that you are covered for your trip.
